Long awaited kitchen pictures

Here's the back door and the spot where the stove will be. Right now there's no roof at all. It's just open
Clinton and the boys building beams.
Frame for the roof
Sink and stove added. The laminate you see is plastic laminate that we rolled out.
Here's another view. As you can see the back is open. But it's better that way...... i have a breeze. : ) The coat hangers you see there at the top left, is where I hang out my laundry. And the little room that the sink is up against, is where my washer is.

Library

This will be the library/office. This room is directly to the left of the living room. The only seperation is the sofa.

Here we are all moved in. You can see the brown sofa which seperates the two room. These beautiful bookcases, my wonderful husband and sons built. Our other house had much more room so we had many bookshelves all over the house, but with the space being much more liminted, we had to come up with an idea to get them all in one place. If we were to have bought bookshelves it would have cost around $290, but they built them for only $75! And there really pretty too.

View from the front door

Here's a view of the house front to back. I'm standing at the front door taking this picture. That's the back door that you see in the background, where my kitchen is located. Also notice how grungy the walls are.........the ceiling has been removed because it was infested with termintes.
This is a shot after the ceiling is put in and the walls are painted. The floors still haven't been done yet. Looking much better, what do you think?
Here we are all moved in. This is the same angle I was at before.
This is the other part of the living room, that i couldn't get from that angle. It's small but it sure is cozy!

Before and after pics

Well this is the guest bathroom. It was a mess! Notice the nasty hand prints all over the outside of the wall.......This isthe new bathroom after the hard work of Clinton and the boys. On the left side of the shower curtain is where they take a shower. So the toilet does get wet, but that's okay... it dries.

After pictures

The new view of the front of the house. Can you believe it?!? I'm in total amazement!
Brian watering the grass that they just laid. Mee Kiaw's in the back with a broom. She's been helping do a lot of stuff around the house. She helped lay grass, level the dirt, pick up trash and other stuff.
They boys putting up the chicken wire to keep the dogs out and the kids in. : )
Here's On, Saaw and Bang eathing coconut meat from our tree.
Naomi giving a hand with the fence.

Before pictures

Here's the front view of the house the day that we started working on it. As you can see it's filled with overgrown brush and trash! It took three days just to get it manageable.
This is the view of our yard looking out our front door. The yard is very long. It's a breathtaking view. You can't see the tops of the coconut trees but we have three large coconut trees that shade the yard.
This is the extent of our house. This is a view looking from the front door. The door in the back is the back door. The little room on the right side is the restroom. The door you see on the left is our room and there's another room connected to our room, that's the boys room............welcome to village life. : )
This is the restroom. It was a total mess. I'll be putting up some after pictres.
Here's Clinton after 5 hours of tearing out the ceiling. The ceiling was infested with termites. so they had to pull the whole thing out and build a new one.

New school year

Here's a picture of Clinton riding on public transportation taking Bang to school. His school is about 30 mins. from the house we are in now. So, he'll be taking the Song Taw until we move into our new house. Clinton went with him the first day so that he knew which one to get on and I followed in the truck.
Here's Bang in his new school uniform. He started a new school today. We didn't want him going to school in the Temple anymore, so we put him in a private school. He was sooooo proud of his new uniform!

Lampang

We had to awesome opportunity to share a message to a church in Lampang. It was a powerful service! God moved mightily. One girl came forward to get her life right with Jesus and several were healed. Priase Him!
