Here's the beautiful family banner that Clinton's mother made for us while we were on our family vacation. I've been meaning to put a picture of it on the blog for a while but.... SO, here it is. All of the fabric is Thai silk. She hand stiched all of it. Each color that you see is a seperate piece of fabric. Isn't it beautiful!! Posted by Picasa

Today we celebrated Bang's 11 birthday. We made cupcakes, and played games in the street with the kids. It was a fun day! Posted by Picasa

TEACHING CHILDREN IN THE VILLAGE

Every Sunday me and Pii Thak go to a village on the other side of town. We've been going there for about a month now. It's very encouraging when we go and the children listen intently to the stories we tell.

Pii Thak teaching the children about the poor making an offering in the temple and the rich making an offering in the temple. This is our new felt board. Isn't it pretty Posted by Picasa

NONNIE VISITS

Clinton's mother came to visit us for three weeks. We had a wonderful time with her! The second week she was here we went up to Pang Nga, the place where the Tsunami hit, and spent 6 days. Not surprising, vacationing there is very very cheap right now, they gave us an 80% discount!! And to top it all off, we were almost the only guests there. It was a very needed break for all of us. We swam, swam and swam. It was wonderful. Beverly made us a beautiful family banner while we were there. She sewed the whole thing by hand. I'll post a picture of it soon. The fabric she used was all Thai silk. It's absolutely gorgeous! I thought it was neat because it will always be a memory for us. The boys have started school. We started on Monday. Both of them were excited to start back and have a schedule again. Some families can function without a schedule but the Garsee family doesn't do very good without one. So for two days now we've had some normalcy back in our lives. Clinton is going out everyday and passing out tracts. Last week they passed out over 5000. It's hard plowing work, but somebodies gotta do it. So he and some of the men on the team press on....... We know that God is going to move here in Thailand and we want to make sure we've planted enough seeds for when the time comes for Him to reap His harvest! we are doing it for Him alone...
